As part of Dying Matters Week we are hosting a Creative Writing Showcase of patient, family, staff and volunteer poetry, stories and memoirs that explore thoughts about life and what it means to be at the end of life.

The pieces have been developed in workshops over the last two months lead by creative writing lecturer Dr. Siobhan Campbell and fellow lecturer at Kingston University Dr. Meg Jensen, alongside Dr. Wendy Vaizey, Dr. Adam Baron and Trinity colleagues.

Participants of the workshops also have opportunity to feature in research by Kingston University and The Open University that explores the place of creative writing in palliative care.

There will be refreshments available on the evening which will be an interactive and celebratory event of this most important time in life.

Join us from 6:30pm – 8pm to view, hear and reflect on these individual and meaningful pieces.

The event is free but please RSVP using the Eventbrite form as limited space is available. If you have any questions please contact Anna Zakrzewski at [email protected] or call 020 7787 103.
