Our Data Entry Volunteer role provides support to our shops office team and will support the general smooth-running of our shops HQ based in Balham.

Commitment

Dates and times are to be agreed in advance with our Office Manager.

To be a successful candidate you will:

  • Be over 16 years old,
  • be trustworthy and reliable, 
  • have good communication skills, 
  • have good interpersonal skills, 
  • have a good level of physical fitness, 
  • respect the policies of Royal Trinity Hospice, 
  • be able to support the overall aim of Royal Trinity Hospice and to act as an ambassador for the hospice.

Data entry volunteer - key responsibilities

  • Data entry with high standards for accuracy and speed
  • General database administration
  • Using Microsoft Office, specially general Microsoft Excel (sort, filter, simple formulas
  • Managing correspondence
  • Filing and scanning

Data entry volunteer - skills and experience

  • IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office
  • Pleasant manner, both face-to-face and on the telephone
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • A great team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to treat with confidentiality any information which is personal, private or sensitive
