Digital Communications Manager

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Salary: Royal Trinity Band F (£32,839 - £35,537)

Make your mark on digital communications at Trinity with this exciting new role. You’ll have a broad remit covering the diverse communications needs of the hospice, including our retail and fundraising teams.

We’re looking for a digital communications specialist with a broad knowledge of digital marketing and communications techniques, a flair for engaging, powerful content and a strong desire to stay ahead of the curve in the changing digital landscape.

Your digital domain will include our website, social channels, intranet and app.

We’re looking for someone who will:

- Develop our internal and external digital channels, increasing reach and engagement and improving user  experience   

- Creatively approach the design and delivery of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns including social media, email marketing and paid advertising

- Supporting the fundraising and retail teams with expertise, insight and ideas

- Analyse and interpret our digital performance and make recommendations for improvement

- Be a key player in shaping the evolution of the charity’s digital strategy

Trinity is a leading local hospice at the cutting edge of providing excellent end of life care and tackling the taboos around death and dying. We may be the oldest hospice in the country but we embrace innovation and technology with recent projects including a new app for patients and their carers and a project exploring virtual reality in patient care.

About You

You’ll have proven experience in a digital role, including content production and campaign management across earned owned and bought channels. You will have a track record of designing, delivering and reporting on impactful and inventive digital marketing campaigns.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and resourceful, a keen storyteller with a good understanding of how audiences consume different types of digital content. You will be collaborative in your approach and confident to suggest and embrace change as a champion of all things digital.
