Trinity are looking to recruit additional mealtime volunteers to help on various shifts. At present we have availability on the following times:

  • Friday evening (5pm-7pm)
  • Saturday evening (5pm-7pm)

Mealtime volunteers work alongside the catering assistants and:

  • Prepare trays, deliver meals to patients and return trays to the kitchen
  • Are expected to pass any issues or concerns about any patient immediately to the Catering Services Manager
  • Provide other support as requested by the Catering Services Manager which may include taking menu orders from patients

Volunteers must fulfil a minimum of 6 months once in post and will be supported by the catering team and Volunteer Manager.

In return, we will offer you the opportunity to develop new and existing skills and to also receive ongoing support and training where necessary. You will also be making a valuable contribution to Trinity and the thousands of people who use our services.

This role will require a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check, provided free of charge by Trinity.
