Our small team of volunteers support patients to get the most out of the activities on offer, and provide practical support, e.g. setting up the room and organising refreshments. The Monday Club is a 12 week programme designed to support people with moderate dementia, and is for 4 hours per week (10.30am-2.30pm). Monday Club is facilitated by volunteers with support from the outpatient nurse and our dementia specialist nurses.

We ask that volunteers commit to the entire 12 week programme and are available on occasion to support our transport team by escorting patients to and from the group on our Minibus. Experience of supporting people with dementia is helpful, but not essential as training will be provided.
