HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM XXXX I miss you so very much mum, not being able to talk to you, to pop around to see you, to even call you, it just doesn't seem right that we cannot do any of these things, it is so hard. I hope you and dad are going to be celebrating today. Unfortunately we cannot today, we did try to arrange something, but we weren't able to, but we will be celebrating your birthday tomorrow, and remembering all the happy times we had with you, and there were thousands. Sometimes it feels like there is no reason, why you're not here today. To see you laugh, to see you smile and just hear the words you say. Now in life, there is a space, that will always remain this way. A space that remains yours for forever and a day. However in our pain of loss, we remind ourselves each day. That for you there is now peace, the suffering and pain taken away Nan, in the weeks leading up to Christmas, it has been very strange not buying a card for you or discussing with Mum what to buy you for Christmas. The boys and I laugh when I ask them if they have a vest on under their school uniform as I'm reminded of the many times you questioned us when visiting you! Memories like this make us smile and whilst there is a huge irreplaceable gap they will keep us smiling for a long long time. We love you Nan. Give Grandad a kiss from us. Merry Christmas, we love you xxx

Nan, it has been 6 months since you grew your wings and took to the skies and I miss you just as much, if not more! The boys and I regularly talk about you and even though I find it hard to speak without tears forming, I can't help but smile through them as I recall all of our special times together. I feel incredibly lucky that my children had you in their lives. We all love you more than you could ever possibly know. "It's time to be with Grandad now, please send him all our love. Nan we love you, we miss you so much. Please remember and always know that you'll be loved and cherished deep within our hearts. This is not goodbye, it is until we meet again. Hi Nan, I always had dreams of taking you away to Las Vegas at some point, as you loved it so much. But as your mobility lessened I knew it less likely and knew that introducing online bingo into the home wasn't a good idea with your love of bingo! So instead, I place this donation as a bet that Royal Trinity will do good in your name. Nan, I can't possibly fit everything I want to say into 3500 characters! But I will do my best. Thank you for being such a huge part of my life. How lucky I am to have had you for as long as I did! I think that is one of the reasons it is so difficult to say goodbye- I just don't know my life without you in it. You and Grandad have given me so many happy memories which I will always remember and cherish. Holidays, Christmases, sleepovers and breakfast in bed- all such a wonderful part of my childhood. I am so lucky that you were also such a huge part of Poppy and Phoebe's lives- and again, how lucky are they to have had such an amazing great Nanna to see them become almost adults! I am just so grateful for the impact you've had on their lives too. If we turn out to be just a bit like you, then I will be so proud, because you were the most kind, generous, caring, loving, fair, brave person. The legacy you have left is immense- the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren! Thank you for giving me such a big, loving and caring family who I know all loved you as much as I did. I only hope you had some idea of how much you are loved by us all and how much you will be missed. You will always be 'Strictly the Best' in our hearts.
