Adrian Williams, Chairman of Trinity said: “Dallas has been an exceptional Chief Executive of Trinity. She has strengthened and energised the organisation, helped us achieve an Outstanding CQC rating and expanded our patient reach significantly. Dallas has been a genuine champion of inclusivity and diversity both internally and externally. She leaves Trinity in good shape with a great staff team, excellent patient services and an innovative approach to working with patients, families and local health partners. Dallas goes with our very best wishes for the future. “Having survived the pandemic in excellent shape we are ambitious to build on this strong platform - to expand our patient reach & impact even further while maintaining Trinity’s high service quality and our reputation for leadership and innovation in hospice sector. I look forward to working with a new Chief Executive to deliver on these goals.” Dallas Pounds said: “It has been a pleasure and privilege to lead the outstanding team at Trinity for the past 8 years. I have been humbled every day by the commitment and passion of the staff and volunteers across the hospice and the shops, and deeply proud of how the Trinity family has pulled together over the past 18 months. The decision to move on has not been an easy one, however now feels like the right time both for me to take my next step closer to home and to pass leadership of Trinity into new hands.” Dallas will step down as Chief Executive in September 2021 to join national charity Lymphoma Action as Director of Services. Trinity’s board has today launched its search for Dallas’ replacement, which is being coordinated by the search firm Berwick Partners.
