What's happening News Hotel Inspector Alex Polizzi raises over £17,000 for Trinity In October Channel 5’s Hotel Inspector Alex Polizzi asked the public to decide whether she should KEEP or SHAVE her lovely curly hair. Alex is known not only for salvaging some of Britain's worst-run hotels and B&Bs, but also for her distinctive spiralling curls. On Saturday 19 November Alex hosted Trinity's 125 Anniversary Ball and announced that the winning vote was to KEEP her curls. Through the generosity of voters, Alex has raised over £17,000 for Royal Trinity Hospice. As a charity, we receive less than a third of our funding from the NHS, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue our work. We must raise £9 million every year to ensure we can provide our services free of charge to people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones in our community. All of the money raised from this vote will enable us to continue to provide this vital care and support. Thank you to everyone that voted.
