With spring well and truly in the air we are calling for donations of pre-loved clothes, homeware, books and more to help stock our 27 shops located across central and south west London.

The £4 million that Trinity’s shops raise each year provides essential income supporting the hospice, which cares for over 2,500 people facing life-limiting illness, and those close to them, in our local community every year.

Trinity’s shops accept a variety of donations including men’s and women’s fashion, shoes and accessories; books; DVDs; CDs and records; homeware; artwork; furniture and small electricals. Any damaged clothing can also be reused or recycled by donating to our stores.

Trinity also welcomes corporate donations, with a number of partnerships already in place meaning luxury new items from labels such as Hugo Boss, Phase Eight, Jilla Active and Izabel London are available in stores and online.

Each bag of donated goods adds up to something bigger in helping us to achieve our mission of providing free, skilled and compassionate end of life care to those who need us. Just one bag of donations could raise £20 which can pay for patient travel costs for a day; 5 bags could fund a physiotherapy assistant for one day and 10 bags could raise £200 which will cover a day’s worth of dressings and surgical supplies.

David Brinson, Trinity’s Head of Retail, said: “Our shops rely on the generosity of stock donations. We are always deeply grateful for these donations and every single one makes a difference to the lives of our patients and their families.

With the recent opening and rebranding of a number of Trinity stores we need quality donations more than ever. With Spring in the air it’s the perfect time for a spring clear-out of pre-loved items. Don’t forget to make your donation go even further by adding Gift Aid in store when you donate”
