The Wandsworth Friends of Royal Trinity Hospice have presented a cheque to Trinity for £31,000, following their annual Christmas Fair held at St Luke’s Church in November 2016.

The cheque was presented to Dallas Pounds, Chief Executive, of Royal Trinity Hospice by the Wandsworth Friends of Trinity Christmas Fair, Lucinda Harding-Rolls, Chair, Melissa Taylor, Co Chair, Elizabeth Burke-Murphy, Treasurer, Robert French, Partner and Office Head Knight Frank The Polygon, Clapham Old Town and Sam Sproston, Partner and Office Head Knight Frank Bellevue Road, Wandsworth.

Dallas said. “Once again we are amazed by the support and dedication of the Wandsworth Friends Christmas Fair Committee in organising such a fantastic event and raising £31,000. We are also grateful to all the customers who generously support this event by buying their Christmas gifts and presents at this annual Fair.”

This year the Fair will again be held at St Luke’s Church, 194 Ramsden Road, London SW12 8RQ. The dates for your diary are Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 November 2017. The Fair as always will offer many enticing stalls selling gifts, toys, books, beauty products, jewellery, fashion and pet accessories. There will also be a Silent Auction to bid for some fabulous items, a Christmas Lucky Dip and the opportunity to get a bargain at the Nearly New Stall.

Lucinda Harding-Rolls, Chair of the Wandsworth Friends of Trinity Christmas Fair, said “I and my brilliant Committee so love doing the Fair and making it happen. It is down to the tremendous support of the local community in coming to the Fair that it continues to be the success that it is and raise funds for the Hospice.  With the amount we raised last November the Hospice are able to fund a Community Nurse for 9 months which is fantastic.  We are also pleased that we have the continued support of Knight Frank as our main sponsor.  Please do put the dates of the 2017 Fair in your diary and we look forward to seeing you later in the year.”

Trinity is the oldest hospice in the UK and each year provides specialist care for more than 1,500 terminally ill patients in central, and south-west London. The Christmas Fair raises important funds for this wonderful local charity, which needs to raise £9 million each year to continue its vital work in the community. Put the date in your diary now and come and support this great cause!”
