Trinity named as one of the most inclusive workplaces The National Centre for Diversity has named Royal Trinity Hospice as one of the Top 100 Most Inclusive Workplaces 2021. Trinity has been included at number 70 in the list, which is the third time it has been included. Trinity's inclusion on the list is in recognition of the hospice's commitment to and work around good FREDIE practices. FREDIE stands for fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement and is at the heart of Trinity's work to challenging and overcoming barriers to its care and services and being a great place to work and volunteer. Solat Chaudhry, Chief Executive at the National Centre for Diversity said: “I send my warmest congratulations to Royal Trinity Hospice on successfully reaching number 70 in the Top 100 Most Inclusive Workplaces Index 2021. It’s been a challenging year and yet, it has not dented the excellent work that organisations and individuals do in promoting FREDIE best practice. “We had to have these awards this year. We could not ignore the fantastic efforts that everyone has continued doing. I congratulate everyone who works so hard day-in day-out to maintain these high standards. “Through the work of the FREDIEs we are able to build a better society, and our winners come from a wonderful cross section of private, public, education and charity sectors representing the very best.” Royal Trinity Hospice currently holds the National Centre for Diversity's "Investors in Diversity" Award at level two and will be working for reaccreditation later in 2021. It was the first hospice to gain the accreditation, the first hospice to be listed on the Top 100 Most Inclusive Workplaces list and the first hospice to become a Stonewall Diversity Champion. Dallas Pounds, Chief Executive of Royal Trinity Hospice said: "I am delighted that Trinity has once again been recognised as one of the country's most inclusive workplaces. "Here at Trinity we work hard to ensure every member of staff and every volunteer feels that they are in an environment where diversity is celebrated and they are encouraged to be their best and most authentic self. We’re proud to celebrate the unique things that make our Trinity family who they are. Despite the challenges of the past year, we have not rested on our laurels and we will continue to work hard to ensure that Trinity is a great place to work and volunteer for everyone."
