New Royal Trinity Hospice shop to open its doors in Camberwell Royal Trinity Hospice is to open a new shop in Butterfly Walk, Camberwell in May. Scheduled to open on May 11, the new location will echo Trinity’s new-look line of contemporary shops, inspired by the inviting, laid back style of big high street retailers. The shop will stock quality men and women’s fashion and homewares, and will also sell new goods from big-name high street retailers such as Old English Co., Designed in Colour and Izabel London. Camberwell will become the 28th Royal Trinity Hospice shop, which together raise over £4.5 million every year to help deliver free end of life care to over 2,500 people in its London catchment area. Trinity’s Retail Director Andrew Adair said: “We are delighted to be opening up in Camberwell. At Trinity we pride ourselves on offering our customers excellent value and quality new and recycled stock. By shopping with us, our customers will be helping England’s oldest hospice provide vital end of life support to families in their community. “We’re looking forward to welcoming in new customers, as well as those who want to donate stock and their time through volunteering.” In anticipation of the new shop opening, Trinity has launched a campaign calling for more volunteers to help the Camberwell site raise as much as possible to support its patients. More than 300 volunteers already donate their time at Trinity’s shops, online business and busy retail office. Volunteer vacancies at Camberwell include Books Specialist Volunteer and Fashion Assistant Volunteer. Marion Homer, Shops Volunteer Manager at Trinity said: “Our shop volunteers play a crucial role in raising funds for the hospice. With more volunteers, the shops can continue to contribute to the amazing services that Trinity provides. These exciting new opportunities to join the Camberwell team will be perfect for anyone looking to give a few hours a week to a vital local cause that helps people right here in our community. “Volunteering at Trinity helps you develop new skills and even provides an opportunity to gain an NVQ in retail, customer service and team leading. It’s a great way to build confidence in a warm and friendly environment.” Click here to apply for a volunteer role in the new Camberwell shop, or in any of Trinity’s other shops.Find out more about donating stock as an individual or a company.
