Royal Trinity Hospice would like to extend our profound thanks to the Wandsworth Friends committee for organising their annual Summer Garden Party on our behalf. This year's event took place on Wednesday 18 May in the beautiful Chelsea Physic Gardens. Over 500 guests attended on the evening to enjoy champagne and canapes, listen to live entertainment from Lucy Addyman and her band, and take part in a thrilling live auction for some sensational prizes.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear from our own CEO, Dallas Pounds, as well as Kate Hill who spoke very movingly about how Trinity helped her family following her husband's death.

Ticket sales for the event, along with the live auction and opportunities to 'sponsor a nurse', raised an amazing £62,730 towards end of life care in the local community.

Thank you also to Savills for their generous sponsorship of this event, and for providing their own fun on the evening with traditional fairground games.

Robin Chatwin, head of Savills South West, attended Trinity in person to present our fundraisers with a cheque, along with committee member Mel Condon.

Thanks once again to all those who took part in this year's event and made sure it was a great success.
