Royal Trinity Hospice has been named as the official charity partner of Winterville, the alternative festive experience held on Clapham Common from 23rd November 2017- 1st January 2018. The partnership will help Trinity raise vital funds and increase awareness of the hospice among the London and Clapham community.

The pop-up town will offer a mix of indoor and outdoor entertainment for all ages, including an ice rink, a UV-powered golf course and a selection of London’s best street food stalls. Trinity will be fundraising throughout the festival as well as hosting a Virtual Reality Christmas experience and raffle in the Community Tent. Trinity’s patients and their families will also have the opportunity to attend an exclusive event in the Spiegel Tent.

Ben Ansell, Trinity’s Head of Fundraising, said “We are delighted to have been selected as an official charity partner of such an amazing event. It is a great chance for us to meet lots of people from our local community as well as raise vital funds to pay for the care and support we offer for free to patients and their families. We are also really excited about showcasing our pioneering work with virtual reality. With so many exciting plans from the team behind Winterville, it really is a must-visit event.”

Marcus Weedon from Winterville said, "Winterville was always conceived as a real community event and we wanted to involve as many local organisations, as well as local people, as possible. We’re aware of the good work the Hospice does and proud to help them in some way to support more people living in the local community this Christmas.”

Trinity is looking for volunteers to help support our activities at the event. Click here to find out more about how to get involved.
