Bereavement Support Appeal 2023 Donate Help us be there for people who are grieving. Our Bereavement Support team provides specialist psychological and emotional support to family and friends of patients before and after the death of a loved one for as long as it is needed, completely free of change. DONATE NOW We support both adults and children, adapting our service to all age groups. We offer weekly free counselling sessions and create a safe space where people can express their own grief in all its different shades. Jane and Sienna's story Jane is a Trinity supporter. Her sister, Sienna, was cared for at Trinity in July 2022. Jane and her mum were supported by our Bereavement Support team, before and after Sienna's death. Here are her thoughts about the care she and her family received: "My mum and I stayed with my sister in the hospice and every single member of staff that we met made sure that we were cared for as much as my sister was. There is consistency from staff who ensured continuity of any care given, even after my sister had passed away. We will all have times in our lives when we need help. I was fortunate enough to get this from Trinity. The kindness and dedication shown was immeasurable." Last year, we delivered 1,172 bereavement support sessions to 240 people, completely free of charge. In the next decade, we predict growth in demand for our services. Your donation can help fund the work of our Bereavement Support team, providing everyone who needs it support and guidance throughout their grief journey today and in the future.
