What's it like as a Staff Nurse on Trinity's Inpatient Unit?

Responsibilities of a Royal Trinity Hospice Bank Nurse

  • Planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care for patients and their carers.
  • Anticipating the changing needs of patients and families.
  • Participating in IDT discussions that inform the management plan for patients.
  • Work closely with a wide and varied team of health care professionals.

Skills and experience required 

  • Hold an up to date NMC registration.
  • Be competent across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
  • Show a passion for working with and supporting the needs of adults with a life-limiting condition, with a real commitment to delivering the highest level of care at all times.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Be eager to learn and develop yourself as a nurse.
