After the success of our event last year, we are so excited to be hosting another Pride event in 2024 on Friday 21 June between 5-7pm at Royal Trinity Hospice.

This year we will be focusing on the power of planning ahead and the importance of considering and discussing your wishes for the end of life and beyond, as well as the challenges many people in the LGBTQ+ community face in getting care suited to their needs.

What does a ‘good death’ mean to you?

Who are the most important people in your life?

What sort of care would you like to receive if you became seriously unwell?

What aspects of your identity would it be important to maintain if you were to become unwell?

There will be a chance to discuss, reflect, and take part in an art activity. There will also be homemade cake and refreshments available in our (hopefully) sunny garden.

During this event we will be exploring experiences of LGBTQ+ people, speaking about the choices we all have when it comes to our own end of life, and introducing you to No Barriers Here, an arts-based approach to planning.

And there will be cake!
