Yes, you will be able to register on the day. Registrations will take place on our front lawn at Trinity. To register on the day, please arrive in plenty of time before your chosen walk distance sets off (timings to be confirmed). However, we encourage everyone to register in advance (advance registration will close on the Thursday 19 September).

How do I give my sponsorship on the day?

We are able to accept sponsorship in cash, cheque, or by card. Please bring this money with you and give it to a member of our fundraising team on the day. Alternatively, you can set up a donation page on JustGiving or on our website.

Do I have to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship?

We are hoping to raise a grand total of £50,000, which will help us fund a Community Nurse Specialist enabling them to provide care for patients for a year. Whilst we do ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £25, we encourage everyone raise as much fundraising as possible.

How do I access the Fun Day?
Read more

The Fun Day is a reward for taking part in the sponsored walk. Only walkers will be given access to the event.

When you reach the finish line you will be given a medal that you can show off to your friends. Make your way to Trinity’s gardens where our Fun Day will take place. Please keep your Trinity t-shirt on as this will show our staff and volunteers that you are entitled to entry.

The Fun Day will feature a bouncy castle, BBQ, face painting, magic shows, live music, and a paid bar. All walkers are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun in our award-winning gardens.

If you have family and friends who would like to attend the Fun Day but have not completed the walk, there will be a suggested donation box on the door.

How do I collect my T-shirt?

T-shirts are provided as part of your registration free. T-shirts can be collected on the day of the event or at reception prior to the walk.

Can we walk in a team?
Read more

We encourage all walkers to register as a team. Anyone is free to be a part of any team they chose, but each walker can be a member of one team only. There will be a team table on the day where teams can sign in and collect their t-shirts.

What different routes are there?

All routes start and finish at Royal Trinity Hospice. We have routes for all abilities (2 miles, 5 miles, and 8 miles), with the exception of Trek to Trinity which starts from a place of your choosing.

Is it accessible for wheelchairs and prams?

The route is largely on tarmacked roads apart from sections of Clapham Common, and so is suitable for both wheelchairs and prams. Both the hospice and the garden are full accessible for wheelchairs and prams.

Can we bring bicycles and scooters?

We do not encourage the use of either bicycles or scooters on this walk.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! We encourage you to bring your furry friends along so they can get involved in the fun too. 

We ask all walkers to exercise responsible pet ownership whilst participating in the walk and during the Fun Day.

What should I wear?
Read more

Make sure you wear supportive shoes or trainers and sensible clothing for the weather. T-shirts will be handed out at sign-in on the day. Unfortunately we cannot provide a cloakroom, so make sure to travel light.

Will there be refreshments?

There will be food and drink will be available to walkers to purchase on the day. This will include a full BBQ, licensed bar and more.

There is very restricted parking around Clapham Common and no parking at the hospice, and so we advise travelling by public transport. Blue badge holders may park free of charge without time limit at on-street parking meters and pay and display parking. Bus 137 stops outside and the 35, 37 and 345 buses stop nearby at the Rookery Road bus stop. Buses 50, 88, 155, 249, 322 and 417 stop a short walk away.
