When Christmas won’t feel the same, instead making the days different and meaningful in a new way

When everyone else is in Christmas jumper mode and busy counting down the days until Christmas day with a strong focus on families, the festivities may leave those mourning the death of a loved one wondering how to get through the long stretch of festivities and New Year period.

Having to ‘live’ through Christmas with the absence of a beloved friend or family member – be it the first or the fifth year is hard.

In the deepest and longest days of the winter, there are some comforts to be found, as considered here by Nicholas, our Spiritual Care Lead at Trinity in his message of support for those grieving at this time.

We are always here for you, so if you need some extra support this festive season then please get in touch with us.
