Our local business ambassador volunteers help to raise awareness in the local community of the work that Trinity does and the ways in which local organisations can support our work. Our community engagement volunteers play a vital role in ensuring that Trinity is embedded in the areas in which we work.

What does a local business ambassador volunteer do?

In this role you will have the opportunity to

  • Identify and visit local businesses to explain the work that Trinity does and how they can support us
  • Promote Trinity’s Local Business Heroes campaign to local organisations and sign them up for the scheme
  • Encourage local businesses to make Trinity their charity of the year
  • Promote the work that Trinity’s shops do and encourage businesses to donate surplus stock or hold a stock drive
  • Identify opportunities to place Trinity collection tins

How much time will I need to commit?

This role is flexible and can fit in around your existing commitments. Local business ambassadors usually give around 4 -5 hours per month.
