Parkgate House School in Clapham has raised over £30,000 for Trinity from two events in the past few months.

Parkgate held a quiz night in October, donating all proceeds to Trinity. The night involved teams of parents, teachers and community supporters competing against one another, alongside an auction which boasted some fantastic lots including the chance to be headmaster for the day. The generosity of the attendees resulted in the night raising an incredible £26,500.

The school also got all the students involved in the fundraising efforts with a fun run in October, with lots of students taking on a circuit of Clapham Common. The fun run managed to raise a further £3,000, bringing the total of Parkgate’s fundraising efforts to a fantastic £30,120.

Parkgate has been providing invaluable support to Trinity for several years, consistently raising vital funds and awareness for the hospice. All of Trinity’s services are provided free of charge and, with only 25% of our income coming from the NHS each year, we must raise over £11 million every year to keep providing the care our community relies on. Without the support of our local community, including schools like Parkgate, we would not be able to continue doing so.
