Trinity has launched a campaign to encourage more people to join the brilliant team of volunteers who donate their time in our charity shops across London.

Each year, Trinity must raise over £13 million in order to continue providing skilled, compassionate care free of charge to over 2,300 patients and their families in our south west and central London catchment. Trinity's 30 shops, from Pimlico to Putney, Streatham to South Kensington, Chelsea to Chiswick contribute over £4.5 million every year to this total. They also play a key role in raising awareness about the work of the hospice in our local community.

The success of our shops relies heavily on the incredible support of Trinity's 300+ retail volunteers. Together, they ensure donations are sorted, products in our shops are beautifully displayed and customers have an amazing shopping experience. Volunteering with Trinity shops has lots of benefits for our volunteers too and is an opportunity to learn new skills, add to your CV and meet new people. Trinity even offers the opportunity to gain an NVQ through volunteering.

Marion Homer, retail volunteering manager at Trinity said:

We're so fortunate to have a fantastic team of volunteers, and we would love to see even more people joining the teams in our shops. I love to hear all the different reasons people have for giving their time, and it’s a great way to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, as well as learning and sharing skills. If you're interested in joining the team, please pop into one of our shops and have a chat to our managers, they're looking forward to meeting you!
