Celebrating our Trinity volunteers

Volunteers' Week took place from 1-7 June this year, and the theme this year was to recognise the contribution of volunteers. For this year’s Volunteers’ Week, we took the opportunity to say thank you to our Trinity volunteers for all they do. We currently have over 200 volunteers helping out in various roles, including in our Trinity charity shops, in the hospice and retail offices, the inpatient unit, our Trinity café, gardens, and in remote roles such as bereavement support and counselling. We wouldn't be able to do the work that we do and make those moments matter without all of our volunteers.

Our volunteers have had the opportunity to have small team get togethers during the week or have received a handwritten card if they are home based.

We have also been celebrating our volunteers and sharing some of their stories on our website and across our social media channels, with more to be added soon. Our volunteers are a vital part of our Trinity family and we couldn’t do what we do without their dedication and support. Meet Flossie and Petrina and find out how they got involved with Trinity.
