Salary:  £24,322 - £25,499

Length of tenure: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37.5 working hours per week

Royal Trinity Hospice is England’s oldest hospice set within 2 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, providing compassionate end of life care to patients.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Plumber/Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team on a full time, permanent basis. As part of the Facilities team you will assist with all aspects of maintenance at the Royal Trinity Hospice estate.

About the role

The key responsibilities of this position are to:

  • carry out preventative and pre-planned maintenance work
  • promote and provide quality services in all areas of work
  • work collaboratively with internal and external contractors
  • carry out routine checks and routine work e.g. light bulbs and fixtures, locks, painting etc.
  • adhere to and follow the health and safety procedures
  • carry out general and daily plumbing and heating work requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • be self-motivated and use initiative
  • build and maintain good working relationships both internal and external
  • be flexible and carry out on-call duties
  • have a qualification and experience of plumbing
