Salary: AfC banding points 16-23 (£27,628 – £35,538 point 16-19, staff nurse, point 20-23 senior staff nurse)
Hours: Full time, part time, flexible hours available
Tenure: Permanent

About the role

We require Band 5 nurses to deliver skilled and compassionate nursing care of the highest quality to patients on our inpatient unit.

Your duties will include:

  • To plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care strategies for patients and their carers
  • To anticipate the changing needs of patients, and emotionally support patients and family
  • To participate in IDT discussions to inform the management plan for patients
  • To lead in the discharge process working closely with the discharge coordinator

Our ideal nurse will:

  • hold an up to date NMC registration;
  • be competent across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge;
  • show a passion for working with and supporting the needs of adults, with a real commitment to delivering the highest level of care at all times;
  • have effective interpersonal communication skills;
  • be eager to learn and develop yourself as a nurse.
