About the role:

Our Retail Head Office Volunteers provide varied administrative support to help with the general smooth-running of our shops office team.

Exact location: Royal Trinity Hospice Shop Office, Unit 1 Grange Mills, Weir Road, SW12 0NE

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • To take telephone calls, messages and enquiries
  • To manage correspondence
  • Filing and scanning
  • Data entry
  • Helping with the stationery orders for our shops
  • Stationery stock control
  • Using Microsoft Office

Requirements and recommendations:

  • Times and dates: 9am -5pm
  • Applicants must be aged 16 or over

Mandatory Training:

  • Gift Aid training
  • Retail Induction (health and safety; customer service; till training; stock)
  • After interview, should applicants be successful, we will take up two references and expect candidates to complete some online training followed by a day induction. Volunteers within the hospice may require a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check completed; this check will be carried out free of charge by Trinity.
