Retail Stock and Logistics Manager

Salary: £33,496- £36,248

Hours: 37.5 per week

We are currently looking for an experienced Stock and Logistics Manager who will be responsible for strategically planning and managing all stock, logistics, warehouse and transportation processes based in our retail office in Balham.

A key element of the role will be to support the Retail Management Team in driving the retail strategy through the effective use of stock by identifying and addressing gaps in the shops needs and the current logistical set-up. With the responsibility for the creation, implementation and delivery of stock management processes, to improve the logistical network and to drive financial performance.

Our shops are instrumental in providing a sustainable source of income to support the work of the hospice, and we need motivated, forward thinking people to make this happen and be a part of our ambitious plans.

Responsibilities of a Stock and Logistics Manager

• Create, develop and implement logistical strategy.
• Manage all logistic needs within the department.
• Manage all warehouse operations, including the e-commerce operation.
• Manage contracts with key suppliers including hauliers and recycling companies.

Skills and experience required

• Proven track record in delivering outstanding results in a stock, logistics or warehousing role.
• Proven experience in contract management.
• Proven experience in team management and objective setting.
