Kick-start your fundraising

Our Family Walk and Fun Day is a sponsored walk event and we actively encourage all our walkers to raise sponsorship. Your fundraising will help us reach our event target of £50,000, enough to fund a Trinity Community Nurse for a whole year.

We kindly ask every adult taking part to raise at least £25 in sponsorship. Kids are encouraged to fundraise as well and we have some great fundraising tips below to help.

The more funds you raise the greater the difference you will make to the free care we provide our patients and their loved ones, now and in the future.

Trinity’s Fundraising Team is on hand to support you every step of the way with advice, ideas and fundraising materials. Don’t forget to ask us about Gift Aid and asking for matched funding too. Please do get in touch and ask for our help at [email protected] or 020 7787 1087.

Games night - from poker to charades, get your friends round and charge an entry fee.
Quiz night - in your home or at a social club or pub.
Charge for team entry and include a raffle.

In the work place
Casual Friday - wear casual clothes to the office and ask for a donation.
Office Olympics - Organise games in your office for an afternoon and shake your collection tin.
Office Bake Off - Invite everyone to bake a cake each and ask for donations in return for a slice.

Hold an event

If you have connections with a local club, school, or work for a business, this is a great way to raise funds for your walk.

Belong to a Community Club or Group?
Invite your fellow members to sign up and walk with you and/or ask them to sponsor you.
You can hold a coffee morning, bake sale or a larger fundraising event to raise funds too.

Fundraise as a school
Are you a teacher or a parent at a local school? Engaging your school with your walk for Trinity is an amazing way to educate the students on an important cause, whilst raising funds. This could be anything from the students collecting 20ps for a smarties tube challenge, to holding a bake sale, or a quiz evening for all the parents and teachers.

Fundraise as a local business or company
Depending on the size and type of the business there are great ways to fundraise as an employee or owner of a local business or larger company.

• Hold a collection box at a point of sale

• Donate a percentage of sales or profits

• Make a financial donation

• Matched-Giving: Ask the company you work for to match your walk sponsorship.

Whilst we don’t ask kids to pledge to raise at least £25 for their walk, it can be great fun for them to do so and here are some ways they can raise sponsorship.

• Bake sale or Lemonade stand

• Birthday fundraiser (instead of presents, ask for donation to Trinity and set up a online giving page)

• Teddy Bear Picnic (£1 to bring your teddy bear)

• Get sponsored to give something up (chocolate, sweets or the games console).

• Sponsored silence
