Simon Hodge

Remembering a curmudgeonly bloke with a heart of gold, Simon was loved by many for his loyalty, strong principles, intellect, dry sense of humour and widely-expressed opinions. An avid fan of cricket, rugby, Scandi Noir and box-sets, Simon was a proud and private man, as tough as they come, and never self-pitying. He battled valiantly with cancer for two and half years and scored a strong innings of 73 - although he'd likely have said that after his 50 he should have gone on to make the century.
