In the absence of being able to offer your free time, we also encourage our community to share and raise awareness of our Urgent Appeal to raise funds for the vital work we do.

Volunteers are crucial to almost every aspect of what we do. We rely on people generously donating their time and skills to help our patients and their families to live every moment.

There are so many ways you can get involved as a volunteer at Trinity, whether it’s in the hospice, in the community or in one of our shops.

Volunteering in the hospice and community

At the hospice in Clapham, we offer a number of patient-facing roles that provide assistance to patients, families and staff throughout our inpatient unit and outpatient services.

The majority of the care we provide is given at home, which is where most of our patients want to be. Patients who can’t leave their own homes often benefit from volunteer befrienders, and those who are more mobile can make their way in to access Trinity’s outpatient services thanks to volunteer drivers.

Volunteering in Trinity Shops

Whether you’re volunteering in our retail team’s head office in Balham, in one of our shops from Pimlico to Putney, Chelsea to Chiswick, or out and about with our driver, all of the funds you help us generate as a volunteer go straight back into delivering care to patients and their families.

We offer specialist volunteer roles focusing on fashion or books and our shops across south west and central London rely on the fun, creativity and passion of our volunteers to generate vital funds for the charity.
