We go above and beyond to help our patients and their families make the most of every moment they have left. We are here for our patients from the moment of their diagnosis until the end of their life, and afterwards we are here for those close to them, for as long as we’re needed. While our history and our roots are within the Christian tradition; valuing service to others, selflessness, hopefulness and relief of suffering, Royal Trinity Hospice has been a secular organisation for nearly 50 years. We continue these values in our current form as an organisation of, and for, many cultures, beliefs, religions and traditions, always reflective of the many communities we serve. Hospice care is as much about living as it is about dying. We want our patients to make the best of every moment they have. We want to give them the time and support they need to make informed decisions about how they die. We’ll continue to be there after death, for those close to them, providing specialist emotional and practical support, no matter their age. Last year we cared for almost 2,300 people at the hospice and out in the community, in patients' homes and care homes. Our expert team also provided specialist psychosocial and spiritual support to nearly 350 people. All our services are free of charge to patients and their families. This year, we need to raise over £12 million to deliver our outstanding care, and supplement the funds we receive from the NHS. We rely on donations and our charity shops to raise the funds we need every year to continue our services. See if you live in our catchment area on the interactive map below.
