Safeguarding at Trinity Royal Trinity Hospice is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all those we care for and those delivering our services. Our Safeguarding policies and procedures ensure that we have robust systems and frameworks within which all employees and volunteers of Royal Trinity Hospice are required to work to keep people safe. They are therefore able to respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns. Our Safeguarding Adults and Children procedures help ensure that the hospice and its services constitute a safe place for all, consistent with its core values of excellence, compassion, inspire, integrity, innovation and leadership. Working together we help protect our patients and their families from the risk of abuse, harm and neglect. Accredited Safeguarding training is mandatory for all staff and volunteers and all our senior staff, including Specialist Nurses, Doctors, and Clinical Managers are trained to an advanced level. We have a dedicated Safeguarding team led by Paul Sullivan, Head of Patient and Family Support, who is available to consult and advise on any concerns that you may have. If you are concerned about someone who is known to Royal Trinity Hospice, whether a patient or family member, you can discuss your concerns with your designated Senior Nurse or alternatively by contacting our designated Safeguarding team by telephoning 020 7787 1000 or email to [email protected].
