Clinical Roles

NHS terms: Trinity is not the NHS but some NHS terms and conditions apply to clinical roles, such as the continuation of existing NHS pension and agenda for change equivalent pay scales.

Quality Care: Trinity is renowned for its patient-centered care and has an optimal nurse to patient ratio of 1:3. This allows focus on practicing high quality nursing standards, giving clinicians the time and space to deliver the patient care that inspired them to join the profession.

Training and Development: The hospice has a dedicated Clinical Educator to support ongoing clinical professional development, including revalidation with the NMC.

Return to Practice Nurses: Trinity welcomes return to practice nurses and not all roles require previous palliative care experience.

Within Trinity’s nursing team there are excellent career progression opportunities, with many current senior nurses being “home grown”.

We were also proud to be finalists in the Student Placement of the Year: Community category at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2018!

Equality and Diversity

Trinity is proud to have been awarded the Investors in Diversity Standard Stage 1. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive organisation that encourages and supports equality and diversity in all its forms. All staff, volunteers, patients, families, visitors and guests are valued and celebrated.

Everyone at Trinity is treated fairly with dignity and respect irrespective of age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, civil partnership status, disability, nationality, race, religion or belief.

We are proud to be a Stonewall Diversity Champion and we were the first hospice to march in London Pride, which has now become an annual event for Trinity.
