Clinical roles
Read more

NHS terms: Trinity is not an NHS organisation but some NHS terms and conditions apply to clinical roles, such as the continuation of existing NHS pension and agenda for change equivalent pay scales.

Quality care: We are renowned for our patient-centred care and have an optimal nurse to patient ratio of 1:3. This allows us to focus on high quality nursing standards, giving clinicians the time and space to deliver the patient care that inspired them to join the profession. In 2019 we were awarded the highest possible quality rating – Outstanding – by the Care Quality Commission.

Training and development: We have a dedicated Clinical Educator to support ongoing clinical professional development, including re-validation with the NMC.

Return to practice nurses: Trinity welcomes return to practice nurses and not all roles require previous palliative care experience. Within our nursing team there are excellent career progression opportunities, with many current senior nurses being “home grown”.

FREDIE: fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement

We are proud to have been awarded the Investors in Diversity Standard Stage 2 in 2019. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive organisation that encourages and supports fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement (FREDIE) in all its forms. All staff, volunteers, patients, families, visitors and guests are valued and celebrated.

Everyone at Trinity is treated fairly with dignity and respect irrespective of age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, civil partnership status, disability, nationality, race, religion or belief.

In 2019 we were listed by the National Centre for Diversity on the Investors in Diversity Top 100 Index, the first hospice to be included in the list. We are proud to be the first hospice to become a Stonewall Diversity Champion, are a founding member of the London LGBT Hospices Network and we were the first hospice to march in London Pride, which has now become an annual event for Trinity.

At Trinity, we’re proud to be a London Living Wage employer. Our fantastic employees are dedicated to providing high quality care for everyone who uses our services, and we believe their wage should reflect both this and the real cost of living. By offering the London Living Wage, we hope to demonstrate how much we value the contribution that every employee makes to Trinity.
