June Rose Lyder was my mother, the sister I never had but most of all my best friend. She was the kindest person I know and had a wicked zest for life. Known as June, Junie, Junie Baby, Junie Moon and Mum and loved by many.

Mum you didn't want me to buy you flowers after you died, so I bought them whilst you were alive. I cannot buy you a birthday present for tomorrow but I am donating to those who helped you in your final days. I love you today more than yesterday and miss you so deeply. I wish to thank all your staff for the kindness and care that was shown to my Mum in her last 11 days (the time she was at the Royal Trinity Hospice). I know although she could not express it, she was most appreciative of it and so was I. May you be able to continue showing that kindness and care to other people in their time of need.
