The scale of the coronavirus crisis is unprecedented. Our shops were closed for three months and are only just now beginning a phased reopening plan. All fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future. Because of this, we are expecting a significant shortfall of at least £3m in our funding. In our 129-year history, we have never faced such a severe challenge.

We must raise £3 million

At any one time we typically provide care to over 700 patients with a critical illness, many of them in the last few months of their lives.

Please donate today to save Trinity, whatever you can can – and then spread the word and urge everyone you know to do the same. We need you now.

The government support for hospices announced in April is very welcome but does not mean we can take our foot off the pedal in our appeal for funds. While it will make an important contribution to our ability to remain open in the short term, it will not keep our doors open indefinitely.

Help secure the future

The stark reality is that the future of Trinity’s services is today at stake. We are facing imminent and dramatic cuts to the level of support and care we can offer. We are calling on our supporters and those in our local community today to help ensure our vital services can survive.

In the coming months, our doctors and nurses will be needed more than ever as the NHS faces the biggest challenge it has ever seen. The population of 750,000 Londoners for whom we are the only provider of specialist end of life and palliative care will need our support and expertise. Without Trinity, there will be nowhere else for them to turn. Which is why we’re turning to you now.

Please help us today

Through careful management we have a few contingencies, but the scale of this crisis means these will not keep us open indefinitely.

Please help us today. Together we will get through this crisis and we will be here for patients and their families for years to come.
