In this role, you’ll lead the development of high quality, multi‑professional learning environments for our registered, unregistered (non‑medical) clinical workforce and Allied Health Professionals. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders and clinical leads to design, deliver and evaluate training programmes, support the monitoring of clinical standards, and help drive forward our Education Strategy. Responsibilities of a Lead Clinical Educator Ensure there are effective systems/framework/activities in place to secure sustainable developments in education and practice. Support Hospice-wide improvements in patient care outcomes through standardisation of practice across the Hospice. Design, deliver and evaluate education and training packages. Work with minimum supervision and coordinate own and other staffs’ activities to ensure that efficient service is provided. Be an innovative and creative practitioner to effectively use resources and technologies in our education programmes. When required write and implement Hospice wide/departmental policies, procedures and guidelines. As a member of the HR and OD team, support the review and development of annual departmental education, training and development plans and ensure they remain relevant and contribute to the department and the organisation as a whole. As a member of the HR and OD team, ensure a process for evidencing the impact of training programmes e.g. competency based framework. Skills and experience required Professional healthcare qualification Degree or Diploma in health-related field Evidence of communicating to a range of health care professionals Recent evidence of developing healthcare practice within the clinical setting.
