Our hospice café provides a relaxing meeting place for patients and their relatives and friends, as well as for staff and volunteers. The café serves a wide range of hot and cold drinks, as well as freshly prepared sandwiches, snacks and cakes.

What does a cafe volunteer do?

In this role you will have the opportunity to

• Welcome visitors and provide food and refreshments as required
• Prepare sandwiches and snacks for customers
• Help to keep the kitchen and seating areas clean and tidy
• Use the till to put through transactions

How much time will I need to commit?

This role is flexible and can fit in around your existing commitments. We are currently looking for volunteers who can help on Fridays or Saturdays. There may also be the opportunity to complete shifts on other days as required. 

You will be required to complete some online training before you start this volunteer role.
