Don't forget, you can unsubscribe from SMS updates here Light up a Life - Thursday 13 December 2018 Come along to our annual Light up a Life service from 6.30pm at the hospice for the lighting of the Trinity Christmas tree at 6.45pm followed by a candlelit procession to Holy Trinity Church (service starts at 7.15pm). The event will include guest readers, wine, mince pies and plenty of carol singing. There's no need to book and this free event is open to all. We look forward to seeing you there! A Christmas in the community It is an immense privilege spending time with people towards the end of their lives and such rewarding work. Read Kate's story Take part in Trinity's biggest ever Secret Santa This Christmas, we're asking our supporters to consider making a donation to Trinity which will help ensure our community nurses like Kate (above) will continue provide free, compassionate care to patients over the festive period and beyond. Please select a donation amount: * £20 will help fund our specialist community nurses to deliver care to patients in their own homes. £50 will help us provide a proper Christmas meal for all of the inpatients staying at Trinity over the festive period and their families £100 will help us deliver support to those who have been bereaved, including children. £150 will help fund the round-the-clock specialist care our inpatient unit will provide over the festive period Other Set up a regular payment Donate Mobile/SMS giving terms and conditions What you will be charged and what Trinity will receive Trinity receives 100% of every donation made. For each donation text you send, you will be charged the donation amount plus any associated text message costs (as stipulated by your network service provider). If you text an incorrect keyword or short code, you may still be charged for the text message at your network service provider’s text message rate. Donation by regular monthly giving You can choose to support Trinity by giving a regular monthly gift via text by texting the word TRINITY to 70660. There are a few things you should be aware of: You can stop your monthly gift at any time by replying STOP to the monthly reminder message. You can also skip a month by replying SKIP to the monthly reminder message When you do not reply SKIP or STOP to the reminder message, £3 will be taken within 24 hours - all donations are taken from your phone credit or monthly phone bill When texting to subscribe you will get an acknowledgement SMS instantly and your first donation will be taken shortly after. You will be notified by SMS once your donation has been taken each month. If you SKIP/STOP, you will also get an acknowledgement SMS from Trinity. Using text to donate If you are under 16 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to donate to Trinity via text. You should always obtain the bill payers permission prior to sending a text message. Where you can text-to-donate You can only donate via text from a UK mobile. You cannot donate using text-to-donate services from the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or other non-UK mobiles. If you donate from a UK mobile outside England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, you may incur additional network charges. Data protection and consent We will only contact you by SMS if you have told us that you would like to be contacted by Trinity by SMS. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by email. Gift Aid Your donation may be eligible for Gift Aid. Trinity may contact you on the mobile number provided to offer you the opportunity to Gift Aid your donation. We may request your details for Gift Aid via a return text or through an online form.
