Our Shops

We're Royal Trinity Hospice, London's answer to sustainable fashion.

We think our charity shops are some of the best around. Come and visit us soon!

We are excited to announce that we have just launched a brand-new Take Back Scheme with DAKS!

DAKS has been supporting our charity shops since 2016 and thanks to their donations of samples and archive pieces that are a firm favourite with our shoppers, we have managed to raise a phenomenal £114,000 for our free hospice care! But now we are thrilled to be partnering with DAKS on something new and this partnership will hopefully bring us even more preloved items for our shops, and save so many more items from landfill.

The Take Back Scheme is a simple, free-of-charge add-on to any DAKS purchase made on their website. When adding the donation bag to your basket, you will be sent the DAKS x Royal Trinity Hospice ‘Take Back’ Bag in which you can fill all your preloved pieces to be returned (free of charge) to us.

Why add a ‘Take Back’ bag and donate?

Over a quarter of the clothes in our wardrobes sit unworn for a year or more, whilst an estimated £140 million worth of clothing is sent to landfill each year. Through our charity shops, we save over 300 tonnes of clothing from landfill every year, but we all know the devastating effects that fashion can have on the environment, and we can all do more. We believe that clothes can be re-worn, reused, shared, borrowed, altered and so much more, to prolong their life. Fashion shouldn’t cost the earth. So, partnering with DAKS will help us reach more people with our sustainable messaging and hopefully save even more clothes from landfill and raise some money along the way.

Our first Take Back Scheme

Every item our charity shops sell is donated – we never buy in stock to sell on, which is something we are hugely proud of! However, it means we constantly need great quality donations, this is where the DAKS Take Back scheme comes in. It will provide us with a new source of items to sell in our shops and, because it’s through the post, some people will find it a more convenient way to donate rather than coming into our shops in person.

The other fantastic thing about the new Take Back Scheme is that DAKS customers from all over the country will be able to donate their items, knowing that they are donating to a charity whose shops value great quality donations, treat them well and use the money raised to fund vital care.

This partnership is the first time we have partnered with a brand in this way, and we are really optimistic that it will provide yet another way for people can donate the items they no longer want, raise money for Trinity and ultimately allow us to reach more people with our care.

Our ambition is to continue to champion sustainable fashion, offer a fantastic charity shopping experience and of course, raise as much as we can to ensure everyone who needs the care of our specialist nurses and doctors, can get it when and where they need it.
