Our Shops

We're Royal Trinity Hospice, London's answer to sustainable fashion.

We think our charity shops are some of the best around. Come and visit us soon!

Here at Royal Trinity Hospice, we are London’s answer to sustainable fashion. Whether that’s selling preloved and saving clothes from landfill, or keeping our back-of-house processes as sustainable as possible.

We have recently partnered with RE-RUNN, a new South-West London-based clothing brand, who are creating unique, upcycled leisurewear from unsold clothes from some of our charity shops.

Read on to hear about our exciting new partnership with founder Sakina O’Neill, and to learn more about RE-RUNN’s mission to reduce the excessive waste generated by the fashion industry.

How are you partnering with Trinity?

At RE-RUNN, our aim is to extend the life of a product and that’s why we are delighted to be working with Royal Trinity Hospice.

You may get clothes donated to your shops that are damaged, stained or just not sold, but they could still be very good quality garments, so rather than sending them to be recycled into non-clothing products, I collect them and re-work them into contemporary leisurewear pieces.

It is also really important to us to give back to the charity, which is why we are donating 10% of profits to Trinity to support the amazing hospice care that they provide.

Why did you want to work with Trinity and other charities?

I always knew I wanted to work with charities at some point in my career. During my many years working in the fashion industry, a lot of my time was spent travelling the world, researching design, and visiting factories. This insight into the waste created by my industry,
fuelled a passion and compulsion in me to focus my energies into finding a conscious way to reduce this waste, whilst giving back and creating something cherished in the process.

Partnering with Trinity is very special for me. My father, who passed away from cancer, spent his last week in St Raphael’s Hospice, and I will never forget the people who cared or him, and us, during that very difficult time. The work hospice’s do is very close to my heart, and I am very grateful that Royal Trinity Hospice support my vision of a circular, sustainable fashion brand.

Can you tell us about some of the other organisations you are working with?

As I am based in Southwest London, one organisation I approached was Sustainable Merton. Their project 'The Wheel’ is all about reducing waste in the community. They loved the idea and introduced me to Canons House. Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage, they had recently finished restoring a beautiful building in Merton, transforming it into a joint community and workspace.

Opportunities for local employment, training and mentorship are at the heart of our business model. To support this initiative Canons offered me a space in their Preloved studio, rent-free, for one year and bought the machinery I needed to make the collection. I was blown away and incredibly appreciative.

When is your first collection launching?

The first drop of our collection has officially launched! It’s a collection of one-off, gender-neutral hoodies and sweatshirts, with sustainability at the heart. They’re also the perfect gift for Christmas coming up.
