Are you up for a challenge? Join Team Trinity and take part in an exciting sports or challenge event to raise funds for your local hospice. Whatever your challenge of choice, including running, swimming, cycling, trekking or skydiving – there’s something out there to test and inspire you!

Whether you want to support Trinity in memory of a loved one or simply as a local good cause, we will look after you every step of the way, offering advice, special events and, of course, the coveted orange Trinity running vest!

Please see below for the events that Trinity currently has places in, but if you don’t see anything you fancy, you can arrange your own place and still support Trinity – simply let us know you are taking part and you can still access all the benefits.

Challenging yourself with an overseas trek is a fantastic way to raise money, whilst doing something truly extraordinary.

This spectacularly varied trek will take Team Trinity right to the heart of the ancient Ming Dynasty, through woods and farmland, hills and mountains, along old and restored sections of the Great Wall. There will be opportunities to explore the bustle of Beijing, sight-see at the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, climb ‘Heaven’s Ladder’ and wind through farming terraces – whilst spending nights in both mountainous hotels and rural village homestays.

Trek itinerary

Days 1-2: Flight to Beijing

Days 3-4: Hilly trekking, following Great Wall over ridges and valleys to small village

Days 5-6: Along forest tracks and steep, well-preserved sections of Wall to Jinshanlin

Days 7-8: Trek through spectacular rolling mountains dotted with watch-towers; drive to Beijing

Days 9-10: Explore Beijing; flight home

Registration fee: £299

Minimum sponsorship required: £2,950

One of our very own nurses, Alison Penney, took part in a skydive for Trinity:

Every day, I see the difference Trinity makes in people’s lives. The skydive was an incredible, adrenaline-fuelled experience and I am so pleased we raised enough to pay for a Trinity Community Nurse for 3 weeks!
