Stock campaign to help stock Royal Trinity Hospice shops

Help your planet and your local hospice. Please donate in store today.

Royal Trinity Hospice has launched a new campaign to encourage donations of summer stock to its shops, calling on people to help the planet and their local hospice at the same time by donating their preloved goods.

The charity is offering more methods of donating goods than ever before, so the process is as easy and accessible as possible.

Trinity’s retail team hopes the month-long campaign will generate good quality donations of summer fashion and accessories that can be sold in their shops throughout central and southwest London.

Find your local Trinity shop

As well as donating goods in any Trinity shop, Trinity will host a “drive through” stock drop collection at the hospice on Saturday 23 April from 10am-3pm.

Trinity’s Stock and Logistics Manager, Sean Homer, who is organising the collection said:

“We know our donors don’t always find it easy to park close to our shops when they have items to donate. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to drop off their donations. Running the stock drop at the hospice will give our donors an even more vivid reminder of the value of their support and the benefit they bring to our patients.”

For those who prefer, the charity can also arrange collections of donated goods locally and there is even an option to donate valuable and extra-special items by post.

Funds raised from the sale of donated goods in Trinity’s shops help ensure the hospice can continue providing free specialist palliative and end of life care to over 2,400 people every year.

“We rely on the generosity of supporters throughout our community to help stock our shops. Fortunately, their generosity knows no bounds! With summer on the horizon, our message is simple: please help make our shops summer-ready with donations of summer dresses and tops, lightweight and colourful fabrics and accessories.

“These donations really make a difference to our patients and with every donation, you are saving an item from landfill and ensuring it goes on to be loved by someone else this summer.

“We are so grateful for every donation or purchase made in our shops and I would like to thank every donor in advance for their support. Whether you buy or donate, what you do in our shops really makes a difference” Daniel Holloway, Director of Retail
